Social Bounty dapp

Project Vision:

We aim to revolutionize social impact funding through decentralization. Our platform empowers users to create and support bounties that incentivize positive actions and contributions to the community. These bounties, ranging from micro-tasks to macro-level initiatives, leverage Ohana DAO's Impact Ledger to assess the reputation and impact potential of bounty creators.

This creates a trust-based system where users can confidently submit, support, vote on, and earn from bounties that drive real-world impact. Each vote not only influences funding decisions but also contributes to the reputation weight of individuals, further amplifying their ability to create and champion meaningful initiatives. The funds donated to successful bounties are directly channeled towards realizing tangible, positive change.

Key Features:

  1. Bounty Creation: Users can submit bounties, specifying the desired action or outcome, along with any supporting documentation or evidence of their impact potential. The bounty system will cater to both micro-tasks (e.g., planting trees, cleaning a local park) and macro-level social initiatives (e.g., educational programs, community development projects).

  2. Reputation-Based System: The platform integrates with Ohana DAO's Impact Ledger to assess the reputation of bounty creators. This adds a layer of trust and transparency, allowing supporters to gauge the potential impact of each bounty.

  3. Community Voting & Support: Users can vote on and support bounties they find compelling. Votes not only determine which bounties receive funding but also enhance the reputation weight of the creators, giving them greater influence in the future.

  4. Transparent Funding: All donated funds are transparently tracked on the blockchain, ensuring accountability and demonstrating the direct impact of each contribution.

  5. Impact Verification: The platform will implement mechanisms to verify the completion and impact of funded bounties, potentially through community validation, image/video uploads, or third-party verification services.

Monetization:

  • Submission Fees: A nominal fee could be charged for submitting both macro and micro social bounties, ensuring a sustainable model for platform maintenance and development.

  • Optional Tips/Donations: Users could have the option to tip or donate to successful bounty creators as a way to express appreciation and further incentivize positive action.
